HPDL partners with residents and local organizations on a wide range of projects to benefit the community.

• Residential matching grants for exterior home improvements (this program is on hold for 2019 while we review new potential partnerships)

• Three community gardens are providing pollinator habitat and vegetable gardens for residents

• HPDL  joined with People for Parks to provide funding for a picnic shelter at the new Triangle Park

• Decorative wraps to cover utility boxes on local street corners

• Bike racks for neighborhood businesses

• Façade grants for neighborhood businesses

• Information tables at the Nokomis Farmer's Market

• Earth Day clean-up at local parks
