Organization of the HPDL Board
The Board of Directors consists of eleven elected members: two representatives from each of the three neighborhoods (Hale, Page, and Diamond Lake) and five at-large members. Terms are staggered so that only one-half of the Board is up for election in any given year. Each member serves a two-year term.
The Board of Directors holds monthly meetings (generally the fourth Monday of every month at 7:00 PM) at the HPDL offices and all HPDL meetings are open to the public. There are also various committee meetings held at various times. Meeting minutes are recorded and posted on our website.

I'm excited to serve my 2nd year as Vice Chair and as a Page representative. I've lived in HPDL for the last 2 years and South Minneapolis for the last 15. Craig Opitz
I have been a Diamond Lake resident since 2001, and reside on Clinton Ave South with my wife Vicki and my son Max. I joined the HPDL board almost two years ago and find the volunteering in our neighborhood very fulfilling. I serve on the environment committee because of my interest in keeping Minneapolis, and in particular Diamond Lake, clean. I also serve on the business development committee that helps serve businesses in the neighborhood. My interests include biking, X-country skiing, and at the moment, teaching my son to skate down at Pearl Park!

Sally Hoover
I've been a resident of Diamond Lake for over 8 years and just love the neigborhood (yes, even the planes). I became a part of HPDL almost 7 years ago after attending Picnic in the Park. HPDL gave me a great way to become involved in the community and I have met a lot of interesting people while having a great time with being involved with HPDL. I am looking forward to another year!

Kim Guild
I have resided in HPDL
since 1999 with my husband Steve. We have two girls: Mackenzie 4 1/2 and Lucy 2.
We love the neighborhood and all it has to offers. I recently joined the HPDL
Board in the fall of 2007. I really wanted to give back to the community and
make a difference. I currently am working on the Frost Fest committee and bring
over 5 years of board member experience to the table. I am a real estate agent
for Edina Realty and in all my spare time I like to cook, work out, golf, and do
family activities.
